How far away is the nearest cable car?
The Bolzano-Soprabolzano cable car is approximately 150 metres away, while the cable car from Pemmern to Corno del Renon is around 10 km away.
What is the best way to reach Corno del Renon?
Take the Renon narrow-gauge railway to Collalbo and then continue with bus 166 (towards Pemmern) directly to the valley station of the Corno del Renon cable car. From there, the cable car takes you up to Cima Lago Nero at 2,070 metres, where you can begin your hike to Corno del Renon.
Can you still travel on the narrow-gauge railway on the Renon?
Yes, the more than 100-year-old narrow-gauge railway on the Renon still operates between Soprabolzano and Collalbo and is ideal for scenic panoramic journeys.
